One of my most treasured earliest memories is of when I was a little girl. My family has always been big on Halloween, and every year at the shop they would hold an event where you could pay 8 dollars and have your kid decorate a candy or caramel apple. Not good for your teeth at all, but when you work for a candy store you gotta expect to have good oral hygiene and an excellent dentist. It was always something I participated in too, because frankly apples are my favorite fruit beside pomegranates. Come mid September we actually begin making and selling candy and caramel apples ourselves, and they're really popular. We even sometimes get orders for people to have some at their wedding receptions. (Also, rice paper origami cranes with various fruit flavors.... We had to have the whole family work on that...)
I just really wanted to share. So I don't forget.
