what if american society's fasination with zombies has a correlation with being an individual and metaphoricly "saveing" others from a fate worse than death. in our capitalistic society were told to "go out and make a name for yourself" by being the "leader " of the group that stops the zombie apacolypse we would be seen as a hear and remembered going back to whats his faces pyramid of higherarchal needs it directly goes to the top of wanting to help others by both saveing the zombies from liveing that unfortunate life and the surviviors by getting rid of that problems and restoring normalacy.
