I'm not going to write much right now, I just wanted to put an update on Lacey's condition...
After over a month in the hospital, she will be coming home tomorrow! It was either come home or go to a rehabilitation hospital. The doctors think she should go to the other hosp., but Lacey won't hear of it. She's sick of being in one and she wants to come home. Of course, she can't sit in a wheelchair yet and an ambulance has to bring her home (at least a 2 hour drive!). Maybe once she gets home she'll get better faster! In the meantime, she is healing alittle every day. She's starting to smile and laugh some now. It's nice to see some of the old Lacey come back! But she still has a long road ahead of her and who knows when she will be able to even think about walking again. But we're here for her every step of the way! I am so impressed with her strength in all of this and I have a world of respect for her fiance who has been a huge source of support and love for her. It's nice to see her in love! It's had a huge impact on her life. I know that when I met her brother and fell in love, it changed my life! I knew that I would never be the same when I met him. I had no idea how right that was!
Anyway, I will write later about other stuff....
