Well it's been a regular day helping my parents with the family biz, and one of the more...attractive customers came in today. She's come in a few times and we know each other on the first name basis. I admit she's cute, but I haven't thought about her that way. (well not for more than a few seconds anyway.)
So when she comes in today, my mom tells me I should go say hi before she does. I thought about it for a second, but why would I do that? It's not like a want her to think I like her or anything...And that's when it hit me. My mom's trying to set me up with her! She could've picked worse, but honestly Mom? That's beyond weird.
Well the girl seems okay, but my feelings are a bit complicated right now. (Don't pry) I talked to her anyway though. We talked a little, but I didn't say nothing that'd give her the wrong idea. But as soon as I think I've avoided anything too embarrassing my mom calls me over as soon as she leaves. And she's like, "So did you ask her out? Valentine's day is tomorrow." I swear I would have face palmed right there. But I guess her heart's in the right place. So I just told her I'm not interested in dating anyone I do business with. She didn't make a big deal, but I'll remember to be careful whenever the dreaded 13th gets rolls around.
