I absolutely love horror mangas. I think it partially has to do with the illustrations. I find joy in seeing evil by looking at a drawing.

Evil isn't really something that should be drawn, I think. To be able to draw something evil should be a gift!

Honestly speaking, evil is pretty easy to envision. Give a black wax crayon to a preschooler and you'll definitely get something evil.

What intrigues me is that evil itself isn't always that bad. I find that sometimes, evil things have a way of easing things, which is good.

Lately, I've been writing a bunch of one-shot stories, about a page or so long. They're completely pointless and have no backbone story line at all. There is something that appears really often.

A beautiful evil.

Like, I've wrote a story about a girl who wanders into the darkness. Scared as she was, she couldn't help but continue her journey through the abyss and, by doing so, she eventually comes across a lady holding a dead baby. As the story unfold, the girl gets trapped in a curse that she sees as beautiful. The girl would be stuck there until her curse is lifted and placed on another.

But really, when it comes to stories, I find evil makes a character a heck lot more attractive.

One time, I tried writing about this guy who was really nice and generous and stuff. Yeah.. it didn't work. He was too normal. I mean, overly nice people aren't normal, but they aren't too interesting either, you know?
