Personality/Mannerism: Kvothe is very headstrong character who loves the mysterious. He has extreme curiosity and will go out of his way to explore situation that will more than likely get him in trouble. Around people he is confident and thoughtful. He knows his words have effect and things before he acts. Even though he is curious, that does not mean he is unintelligent. He just weighs the odds and believes that his knowledge of the unknown is worth the risk of trouble.

Headband Style: A silver plate engraved with the Suna symbol that has been embedded in his Chinese-style hat.
Clothing: Kvothe is almost always seen wearing his usual get up of a black sleeveless shirt and white pants that grip just above his ankles. He wears bracers that cover the bottoms of his feet and the top but allow for his toes to stay in the open, letting him grip surfaces better and feel the ground beneath him. He has a Chinese styled top that hangs loosely around him and is held in place by a leather belt with a sash tied tight around it. Shoulder-high finger less gloves adorn his hands and on top of his head is his hat, which also wear his head band is located. When he's not wearing his hit it sits on his back, hanging by the strap around his neck.
Cherished Items: His Father's Lute which his Father left to him. It has been passed down through the family for quite some time now.

Another common weapon, the shuriken is often kept in a holster on the leg or in a pouch attached to the belt.

This throwing knife is one of the common weapons of a ninja. It is often kept in a holster on the leg in a pouch attached to the belt. The Kunai can be used in conjunction with explosive tags and other weapons to form deadly combos.
• Senbon:
The senbon was first used by doctors in acupuncture, it was then adopted by ninja and Hunter-nins to hit points on the body to cause death, deaden limbs or cause their target to fall unconscious.
• Exploding Note:
The exploding note is a piece of parchment paper which has script on it that serves to faciltate its explosive properties. The ninja can attach the note to another object such as a kunai or log. When the note is set it begins a slow burn which results in a large explosion.

Wire can be used in several situations. It can allow the ninja to create trip wire explosive traps, it can be used in rappelling, or as a method to tie down and restrict the movement of an opponent.
• File:
A file is normally hidden within the clothing of the ninja, if captured, the file can be withdrawn from its secret location to file and cut through metal.
• Mirror:
When the ninja wants to avoid putting themself directly in the possible line of attack, they can use the mirror to peak around corners to ensure the path is clear.
• Glass Container:
A small glass container on a hempen rope that hangs around the neck. Fairly thing glass which breaks easily contains just a small amount of Iron Sand in case an emergency rises. The container itself is only the size of a thumb.
• Backpack:
A backpack that covers the whole back of the one wearing it. This pack can contain many things though only in the side and front pockets. The main pocket is filled with just over fifty pounds of Iron Sand, the main weapon that Kvothe uses.
• Water Skin:
A water tight bladder that is able to carry a gallon of water comfortably slung around the shoulder or hung from the hip of travel pack.
• Three Days of Dry Trail Rations:
Dried food that is always essential while travelling. It is kept in a leather wrapping and tied with hempen rope.

Family Member(s): Kvothe is an only child and was raised by his mother and his father. His mothers name is Cassandra and still lives within the village with Kvothe. His father, Kote, died during the Ame invasion while protecting his family.

Religious philosophy: Currently Kvothe believes in resurrection though isn't too strong about pushing his beliefs or even speaking of them in general.
Political/social philosophy: Everyone should be free to do as they will, as long as they wish not to harm others. Punishment for the intentional harm of others should be swift and just.
Background: Kvothe has always been a traveler. Ever since he was born he was moving around the whole continent with his family, stopping in towns and Hidden Villages. He was part of a Troupe that was led by his father and thus, from an early age, learned the ways of the performing arts. All of this came as naturally to him as breathing and eating did so he excelled in the forms of music, art, and song. Since they were always traveling, Kvothe learned about all the different stories of the world and was enthused with the tales of shinobi and their great feats. He yearned to become one and was finally successful when the Troupe stopped in Suna. He turned to his parents and told them his dreams and they listened with open hearts, accepting him. His father and mother agreed to stay with him and the Troupe moved on.
Kvothe then joined the academy and ran through it's ranks at an early age, still excelling in all of the things he concentrated his efforts upon. His mother and father were both proud as he graduated with flying colors. He was young, full of energy and potential, and ready to take on the world. Then the Great Lord and the Kazekage disappeared and with them, the invasion by Amegakure no Sato occurred. His father strongly objected and when he confronted them, while they tried to take their home for troops, he was slaughtered in cold blood. Bleeding out on the floor and surrounded by family he slowly gave his last words before passing into the next world.
Kvothe cried, he couldn't help it. He stayed away from a lot of poeple after that and it hasn't been until just recently that he has begun trusting people again. Helping his mother as best as he can they get by without the man they both loved. For now, Kvothe trains hard and yet still seeks to improve himself. For when a day comes when he needs to protect his family, he was rise to the challenge.
