so. chaos reigns, as usual.

Saturday morning (friday night?) didn't get to bed until 4:30am. phone was ringing off the hook since 10:30, finally got up and attended to business at 12:30.

dad flattened his phone under a loaded beet truck. xD so he needed a new one. the suggestion came up that I could give him my phone, and I could get a new one.

so mom and I met in Worthington at g-ma's and got everything transferred. my stuff was transferred to an IPHONE 4. THAT WAS FREE.

whoop whoop!

just $125 to pay off the old contract I was on, and got the iphone for free, along with some other schtuffs.

so i've been playing with it continuously. Still incredulous that it's MINE, and it's for real...

whee

our dorm wing also took pictures this afternoon. the dude who took them look eerily like Shioko's dad, minus about 30 years.

over the course of this summer I've discovered a very, very fine line when getting glammed up for pictures/other big occasions. There's the getting dressed up and then feeling confident in how you've prepared to present yourself, or breaking down into the lowest depths self-esteem can explore and being terrified to walk out the door for fear of judgement on how you've prepared to present yourself.


sadly, most of the time it's the latter. T.T


but it was fun getting glammed up. Went the whole nine yards: caked on the makeup like the entire bottle was expiring tomorrow, plucked the eyebrows, put on way too many coats of eyeliner and mascara, and straightened the daylights out of my hair.

tomorrow I'll be pretty, too. ^^



THE THING CAME TODAY. I've been paying attention to the signs, though, so I knew it was coming.


but second day's the worst. I can already feel it coming...

at least all of the misery will be at one end of the week haha. usually doesn't last more than 4 or 5 days. ^^




also, SOMEBODY SHOULD TELL ME WHY I'M SEMI-ATTRACTED TO GUYS THAT AREN'T EVEN SEMI-ATTRACTIVE.

srsly.




on a shrek music kick now.

the kid in the, what, fourth? movie is the kind of guy i've been attracted to for the past month or so. :/

sooooo weird.



SO MUCH PROCRASTINATION I'M GOING TO DIE.

paper and news article due tuesday.

huge test wednesday.

then pretty calm until next week, SEVEN papers due then.
