It has been a less-than-eventful birthday, but it's still been good. smile

Let's see, first I took Chalupa to the vet. She has a mild ear infection, but other than that she's fine. They couldn't tell me why she sometimes bites me while I'm petting her.

Next, while Chalupa was still in the car, I went to Barnes and Noble to return Harry Potter book 7. After I returned the book, I bought a mocha frappuccino and an Italian soda (cost me about $6!).

Then back in the car, drinking my frapp, we headed home. When we got there, I stopped at the small convenience store (really very convenient too) and bought some soda and cereal that cost me a whopping $9. Really? For a 2 liter of soda and a regular box of cereal? What a ripoff.

After the ripoff I went inside my building and had a nice chat with the handsome and funny (yet 42 year old) security guard. His name is Boris, and he's very nice. I'm not sure if he's married but my guess is not. To be honest, I'd probably date him if he asked me! Age isn't everything in a relationship, he makes me laugh. That's what's important.

Then me and Chalupa headed upstairs, and I finally got home with my wonderful soda that I'm still drinking. God I love the stuff, even though it's bad for you. Chalupa has been hiding ever since we got home, I think she's mad at me for keeping her in the car so long. She really hates car rides.

I quit smoking today! Haven't smoked since last night. Cigarettes are nasty anyway, and SO expensive. Don't even get me started. Chantix is a life saver, let me tell you.
