Sunday afternoon:

received many comments on my outfit today :]

that, and I wore my hair down and wore contacts to boot.

mystery this morning: I put my contacts in so I could see what I was doing when I was shaving in the shower, and they were bothering me so i tried to take them out, only to discover that the left one had gone missing (I couldn't see it, much less take it out).

which explains why they weren't working haha.

so i started a new pair (for the first time this summer, in fact). the other ones lasted so long because I barely ever wore them.



beautiful bruises today~~ the biggest looks "like a galaxy!" because it's varying shades of purple and pink with speckles of non-bruised skin mixed in xD


gonna set off the lanterns tonight! If all goes well, pics will be up on facebook in a few days.

I rejoice muchly in it~~

sat outside reading my book yesterday

and it occurred to me that if I don't get a move-on, I won't be able to finish the rest of the series before school starts. O.O

At one point I was able to inhale each of the last few books in a few days, week at most. Now I have more time than ever with everything winding down, so yeah...


Planning a Major trip into town this week. Get the car done (oil, wash, tires, clean out the inside, etc), get a credit card lined up, and go shopping for last-minute stuff.


also on the agenda is ordering books and packing and painting the house gonk

Tuesday morning:

oh humanity. gonk specific communication is key if you want me to do something correctly... oh well. lesson learned.

yesterday had the pampering thing with Mary Kay. Guilted into buying some microdermabrasion set and mom and karen also got a bunch of stuff. but if I took one thing away from it, it was that I should wear blush more often. They kind of showed me how to do it so I don't look like a clown haha.

but the makeup itself doesn't suit my skin type. I was an utter greaseball not even two hours later. (took 2.5 blotting papers to get the worst off...)

going to humor the microdermabrasion set for a while longer. my face felt greasy again after I used it last night, idk if it made any difference or not haha.

also had my car cared for (=tires checked, oil changed, air filter replaced, general check-up completed, and a car wash!) all in one fell swoop afterwards biggrin

today is Busy Day.

went all Freakus organius on my calendar and to-do list yesterday... pretty much designed a schedule for every single day of summer vacation I have left in order to get everything done haha.

not going into town today. Work this morning, few calls this afternoon, fill out the amor app, order school books, and figure out the clothes situation for school.

guess I should change into something other than my pj's.
