feels like a wasted day.
got up early to go to Olivia; ended up not going and sleeping another couple hours.
now we're gonna try to make it to another town's festivities (which are a lot closer to home), should be interesting because they're even smaller than my hometown xD
gonna try again to grow a pineapple. last time I did it wrong I guess, but I'm worried about this one, too, because there aren't as many nubs as there should be... o.o
it's gonna have to be timed where it goes into potting soil not even a week before I head back to college.
... I'm gonna have so many plants there. xD my bonsai, african violet, and pineapple for sure. Gonna look up online some other good ones (last year I had mums to help stabilize the humidity in our room because the whole dorm was super dry in the winter. even got a few comments that our room was more humid, but in a good way ^^) like daisies (they release lots of oxygen, which makes falling asleep easier I guess) and the like.

still gloomy weather, doesn't help the house looks like crap now haha.
parade was fun, perfect weather~ :] even walked around with Shioko and she showed me her old house and talked about the neighborhood.
the goal for the rest of the day: prep for going back to school (ALREADY?!?!), just gonna make a few lists of things that need to happen and what needs to be bought (razors & other crap I didn't bother buying for myself because I can use my mother's and sister's).
seriously, I need to get a job doing planning stuff like this. It's super relaxing and fun haha. Yesterday I was even organizing the list of books I need to buy and shopping around for the best deal~ (total still came to over $200, but theee entirety of my booklist (# of books-wise) is less than for just one of my classes last semester so I'm totally okay with it.)
