just watch me.
yup. got graduation fever already. Last night around 1am I was in despair, because I didn't know what I wanted to do after graduation.

so after a google search and digging through 80-some tabs, I think I'm going to work in Ireland for a year or so after I graduate. Then maybe before I head home, I'll try my hand at couchsurfing across the rest of Western Europe. :]

it's all very much in the air, though, but I was excited at the thought that after I'm done with school, I'll have the rest of my life ahead of me to do WHATEVER I WANT! And if that means walking out the door with nothing but a backpack and catching a plane across the pond, then that's that. There's nothing to stop me, and since money will always be an issue, it isn't the end of the world so I shouldn't treat it as such.

I was reading all of these blogs about how these college grads had such a rude awakening to real life..... seriously, they didn't know that stuff before? I know what the real world holds, and I know that I won't be surprised. I'm not saying that I won't need a hand or two (especially with the finer points of finance and investing... murgh), but I certainly try not to wear my rose-colored glasses too often.

in other news, I need to start writing down all the stuff I'm learning in the weights class. We even learned a few neck stretches that help with headaches!! ( whee !!!!!!) Felt like a wuss because I had to use the lowest weights possible for my upper body...... I have zero upper-body strength haha.

discovered it DOES cost money to get a personal trainer....... $175 for 6 sessions, to be exact. Seeing as I don't have that kind of money, and I'm already trying to do my own thing, I changed my mind and won't be doing it.

When I have that kind of money, I think about it haha.

I would like to be in a more reasonable weight range for after I graduate, though. That, along with a bunch of other things I've found out, have given me more incentive to actually TRY to drop some pounds and gain some muscle.

- There's a higher risk of complications when obese women are pregnant
- Men's ideal size for a woman is around 10 or 12. (with a waist that's ~66% of her hip measurement haha...)
- People (even unconsciously) judge fat people to be lazy and inept, even if they aren't, and that same prejudice is spread to anyone (normal size or not) who is even sitting NEXT TO a fat person. O.O
- Because of that prejudice, they actually make a few thousand dollars less a year than their normal-sized counterpart.

oh joy.

so yeah. It's fascinating looking at royalty pictures, too, because of the body differences between Gabbie and me. She's my "average" size; meaning, her top and bottom are the same size, whereas my top is smaller than hers, but my bottom is bigger.

yay for small waist?

(*wants to find a measuring tape to find the percentage difference*...)

my newest thing, I guess, is riding my bike. On brand-new gravel (=very rough terrain because it isn't worn down at all), I got pooped just going a mile yesterday. I'm going to slowly work my way up to 7 miles and beyond, so when school comes around, I can go biking with my buddies (I was the only one last year who didn't have a bike... T.T) and not get tired.

I'd also like to bike to Spicer and back yet this summer from the Civic Center, which is 13 miles.

*shrug*

in any case, today is work day. scrapbooking the rest of the stuff i can do, cleaning the kitchen, and getting my clients set up.

I love summer~ :3
