How do you express your uniqueness? How do you prove that there is only one of you in this entire world? Some people dye their hair in extravagant colors, and mold them into fantastic things. Some take the dying to a whole new level, and inject the ink into themselves through pens to draw pictures or write out words or phrases that they think describe their lives. People, whether consciously or subconsciously, treat their own bodies like a blank canvas. They have to stand out, have to create the greatest image that no one else can replicate. In a sense, every single being out there is an artist, and everyday they add something physical, emotion, or spiritual to their work, even if they don't realize it. We work our hardest to prove our different we are, how there is no one else like us, that we can never be replaced. Whether it's through words, hair, clothing, tattoos, scars, facial expression, actions, or experiences, we are adding to our blank canvas, until it blooms into a masterpiece, but sadly, sometimes that masterpiece only blooms once the painting is finally finished, and the brush is forever dropped. Life is a pallet of paint, and whether you create your art through pictures or words, you will use it. People go to so much trouble to do this, and devote their entire life purely to creating their own, unique image, but in reality, your life, your masterpiece, was unique the minute you were born. Your experiences have created every detail about you, no one can experience it the exact way you have. You were born crying for your mother, for food, or even for some peace so that you could rest, but no one else cried like you. The paint brush stroked the empty canvas for the first time that day, in a place no brush has every touched before, in a fashion no brush has ever done before. People work so hard to create their imagine, that they get lost in it, which eventually leads to them losing themselves. If people spent less time trying to prove unique they were, they see that everyone's canvas is painted differently with any effort at all. An artist paints because he wants to, because he enjoys it.
As long as people do what they enjoy, their painting will end in its own exclusive beauty.
