Two birds
Wrapped up in a nest
Nuzzling each other
Under a warm blanket of feathers
Dusk falls slowly in an array of colors
Then night comes with its twinkle
A shooting star zips across the sky
And a girl
Staring out her window
Makes a hopeful wish
Then looks back to the full moon
And down below a boy
He catches her attention
And they talk until the faintest light of dawn.
