Since when was finding a poor dog in need a crime?
Outside a grocery store my mother and I, were on our way out waiting forthe line of cars to make theyer way out. To the left of us a woman was holding a Chinese Crestant dog (VErrY ExpenCIve) Anyway my mom pointed it out and said "Hey, sarah look a Chinses Crestant" The woman holding the dog over heard and walked to the car and said "Do you want her?" Immediatly we said no to the high matinance dog. The woman holding the dog said " Ive been waiting here for a while for the owner to come out, but i dont think hes in there, and i already have dogs." We have dogs too. But we thought a dog that expencive should be microchiped, so we took her. When we got her she was filthy and smelled disgusting, she wore a babys onsie, that had urine and fecies stains on it. We went home to but the groceries away and to give her a bath to get that nasty onsie off. When we were done we took here to the vet, and no microchip. Mother and I decided to put up a craigslist add and some flyers in some pet shops like petco and pets mart. But nobody called, a few weeks later with no responce, we found a lovely couple to take the dog, just the two of them a brand new house, a perfect enviroment for her. The couple was my step mothers brother and his boyfriend. They had fallen in love with her as soon as they saw her. But a week later someone had stole her from them. Such a pitty that poor puppy. But now Four months later a woman calls about the dog saying its hers. May I say again FOUR MONTHS LATER! She calls wanting the dog we had to give her bad news, and say the dog was stolen once again, and that we were very sorry. She didnt ask any questions about the dog, like where we found her, who the woman was, how was she doing, nothing. And you would think she would, if she really missed the pet and actually wanted to know what happened to the dog. But now shes pressing charges on us for god knows what its her fault she waited four months to find her dog. Now the police are comming to our house to look for the dog that isnt here. Why do people do this, we had no bad intentions at all, we only wanted to help a dog find her home.
