indeed. Welp, the birthday on Tuesday was great fun, Kenzie's is this coming Thursday. ^^
the streamers that I put up are still up. Wondering what I should do to decorate for her b-day now... hmm.
making a little progress with the papers. kind of. Wrote a very, very rough outline of the one for Wednesday since I finished the book, gonna write that today.
Haven't even thought about the one for Monday (that's somehow backwards lol), and I'm only halfway done with the reading for the 7-pager due Friday.
and this is all nothing compared to KSP, where those poor, poor kids had like a 20-page paper due every week. gonk
got the blues. in a hopeful way...
here's the lowdown: I don't know who I'm rooming with next semester. I've only known these people for a little over a semester (around 20 weeks or so), and yet we have to choose roommates for next year already.
I'm friends with lots of people, but close to none.
alone. again.
I have no idea what to do.
I have hope that I have yet to meet my own "tribe", as it were; lots of sophomores I've talked to say their friend groups changed completely from freshman year.
I can only hope, I guess, because right now things aren't looking so peachy.
Compounding the problem is the fact that I really don't want to room with my current roomies next year. They're sweethearts, but our personalities clash. Y is timid around me (and she's like 4 years older than me...), and I treat K like a little sister (/child) because of our difference in experience. (She had zero domestic training, and is very immature about a lot of things.)
*shrug* que sera, sera, I guess....
working the weekend shifts next week at the radio. have to find a replacement for 55th... :/
it's fascinating that Stephen King strengthens my faith and belief in God. Like seriously, the one book I have to write an essay on for Wednesday lined up PERFECTLY with the storyline of my latest SK book.
weirdness. biggrin

went to Sioux City on Thursday. I never, ever, ever, EVAR have a free night, so the only one I got I brought my clarinet to get fixed. It was an hour's drive... drove around a very confusing residential area for 20 minutes before finding the repairman's shop/house, got there, and discovered he wasn't there. I waited for an hour... nothing. So, I drove the hour back to college, and called it a night.
what a waste.
i'm never going to have that again.
and I spent it sitting in a car an hour away from where I should've been. -.-;;
but this morning the guy called me to apologize. ^.^ all is forgiven, I guess... hehe.
i want to turn on TV so I can focus. but the roommates don't like sound when they're working... stare
right then.
