Strange thoughts? or a story?
In the darkness of night, outside of a temple at the shore, a lone robed figured kneeled by the sea and began her duty. She began to light candles, and, setting them in bowls, placed them in the waters to drift into the darkness. She had been loved, but at the same time she was ignored. She was the priestess of forgiveness, the one who would desire second chances for those who deserved it. However, she was human, as she knew there were times when forgiveness just can't be given, a fact that saddened her. And yet she felt a feeling as though she couldn't speak aloud her feelings whenever those she was familiar with and close by to were around, a feeling that built a self-imposed darkness on herself along with the idea that even if she could forgive others, she could never forgive herself at all. The area where she sent the candles out was in an area where not even the moon would shine it's light toward, for it was where demons and villains where said to have lived when they are foiled. The temple was built to prevent them from escaping, but she instead prayed for a chance to give forgiveness. Along with her prayers, she sang songs that she heard in hopes that someone can hear. But one day, news from the winds struck her. A friend of hers, an angel in disguise from a land afar had been betrayed and was falling into despair. The priestess tried to hold back her tears, but she couldn't. Afraid and worried for her friend, she prayed for a miracle that might be able to save her friend, but were her prayers answered? None remain that know...
