On Call concert was uber awesome tonight >u< so many hugs from so many awesome people, with awesometastic music to boot~
I've been noticing that I'm only ever on the computer after midnight on break. strange.
Dad's 55th b-day today. Planted an announcement in his sunday school class, and he got all sorts of attention from them. Then we went out to eat at Bee's (where, of course, you get a free sundae if it's your b-day) for lunch (w/o Karen, she had OC this morning too), then yeah. He had to jump-start the OC bus tonight so they could leave. xD
yay i'm a ginger again!..... oh wait. dyed the roots again tonight, have perfected a way to make the colors blend evenly.
finished E's skirts at 4:30 this morning. (SOOOO MANY PROBLEMS WITH THE SEWING MACHINE...) xD Only got 3 hours of sleep, then a 2-hour nap, then been up ever since.
I hope the skirts are okay. towards the end I was miscalculating a lot... *le sigh*
It's always easier making stuff for yourself or someone close to you who you can grab at a moment's notice to see if it fits.
well, kicking off the 2nd semester, life is okay. taking baby steps towards some goals-ish things, getting things kinda-sorta in order for books and such, car is FINALLY okay (no battery issues, no start-up issues, & tires are fixed... ^u^)... yeah. I think this semester will go really fast (no doubt there will be rough patches, but that's part of the fun, right?), then it's back here to find a couple jobs for the summer.
have a couple possibilities picked out, we'll see what happens.
but for now, I need sleep. getting up early to pack, will be back in IA by 3 or 4-ish for college round 2.
((with hopefully not a lot of trips home =P))
