Elements
----------
The Elements make up the constitution of nature by coinciding and conflicting with one another to create a perfect ecological balance. Each of the Elements is ruled and maintained by an Immortal Spirit called Governors that represent and embody their respective Elements. Without a Governor to moderate it, an element becomes random and unpredictable and will constantly upset the balance of nature and the other elements.
The element of Friction is unopposed as it applies to all things in all places, and exists in tandem with Mana itself. Everything from Air to Water to Earth is subject to Friction's rule, therefore it has no opposite but Mana itself, with which it coincides.
Chaos and Order counterbalance one another in abstraction.
Light and Darkness oppose and strengthen one another, perpetually fighting for supremacy - the stronger the light, the greater the darkness, but the dimmer the light, the less oppressing the darkness is.
Heat and Cold are essentially the same element, but represent the extremes of that Element and are Governed separately as they represent Fire and Water respectively - though they are opposites, they rarely coexist and therefore are on neutral terms.
Earth and Air are distinctly separate, always in contact with one another, and sometimes in conflict. But due to their natures, coexist peacefully as Air is always willing to give, and Earth is always ready to stand firm.
Void is equal to nothingness, it doesn't exist in union with any other Element, and it doesn't oppose any other Element.
----------
Each of the Controllable Elements has a utilitarian as well as a combative and passive use.
For example, heat/fire can be used to warm a person or power a craft or vehicle.
Cold can be used as healing for small burns as well as to preserve perishable foods.
