finals went without a hitch. most boring days of college, i tell you...
went to go home yesterday morning, and had a flat tire. less than pleased about that...
got the maintenance dept to inflate it again until I got home.
picked up the new glasses (which i like), got a 10% discount for school affiliation. whoop whoop~
had lunch with mom in marshall as we were crossing paths, probably not gonna see her until Friday or so. picked out karen's gift and such to kill a little time.
once back in the CC, dropped my car off and went to school for an hour or so sipping on a cafe mocha from the coffee shop across the street of the repair shop.
rather boring, all things considered.
found out i need at least 3 new tires. sad day....... they're like $100 each, minimum. gonk
so. boring otherwise.
super pumped to work on some skirts for karen, mom, and emily for haiti. hopefully going to town tonight to pick up supplies.
.... where's my phone?
*shrug* anywho. need a bunch of new elastic and decent material. all mine's scrap stuff, might look through the stash and see if I can't repurpose some poor garment.
thinking of a bunch of different ways to do them. not gonna do buttons on them, methinks, because that's work and time and money and iffy sizing that I'm not gonna worry about.
speaking of money, I just keep having to spend it. utterly ridiculous.
the car tires, groceries, new pairs of pants... my gosh.
got a few monies from selling back some books (have to do the rest online over break, methinks), and rebate from buying a new phone, plus radio wages over christmas, plus DF calling after christmas. think I'll be okay-ish...??
well, it'd be around 35+50+180+200= $465.
enough for four brand new tires.
minus the cost of jeans, groceries, new glasses, skirt supplies, gas, and second semester's tuition, and I'm thoroughly in the hole. *cries*
but another gift card for doing some stuff online should cover the cost of the jeans, if not some of the groceries as well... total of $60.
wonder how expensive three new pairs of jeans are, though...
thinking about selling some stuff just to get a little more income. but I'm not that good at anything, and there'd be nobody to sell the stuff to.
yet another thing to muse about... :/
have to get going now, I guess.
