It's your personality... we all know that it gets pushed back behind looks and general people interactions when it comes to guys/girls. Hell, you and Icey and Tsuki and whoever else continue to insist that I rock or something, when in fact, if you were to know me IRL, you'd know that I'm just a big, comedic oaf.
As to why guys online keep falling for you, that's a little harder. Everyone has a different reason for wanting someone, and I can't speak for most people. I can tell you, however, it's your bright personality and cheerful outlook on life that attracts your friends.
