It all started on the night of the blood moon. The night of cursed priestess. Priestess who had imense strength and spiritual powers were cursed at the time of the blood moon. When a priestess reaches her first blood moon she is racked by imense pain. And the only way to relieve the pain is through sexual acts. That is why it is best for the priestess to mate before her time of the blood moon arrives. But the first male you mate on the night of the blood moon will always be bonded with you til death due you part.

It was on this night the little priestess Shiori heard her mothers screams from a cave. With only the thought that her mother could be near death Shiori moved with lightning fast speed to the caves where her mother was to spend the night. The scene she came upon was horrific. There in the cave was her mother but she was not alone. She was with a male, and not Shiori's father. She lay writhing in what seemed to be pleasure under the male that couldn't possible be human.

She knew she wasn't supposed to see but her little legs would not budge and the couple didn't really seem to notice her. She watched as her own mother cried out in pleasure and rose to meet every thrust from the male above her. But soon the sight that had mesmerised yet disgusted her turned to sheer terror.

The male above her mother became for vigorous in his movements and Shiori's mother called out in pain and told him to stop. But still she thrusted in her until blood came pouring from where the two bodies met. Her mother lay limp on the damp floor of the cave not a movement not even a breathe left her body.

So terror struck Shiori ran from the cave and vowed to be chaste the intire life....

But her wishes weren't fulfilled. Many years later her time aswell came on the night of the blood moon. And she too was wracked with pain. And just like her mother an angelic male came to her. Too far into the pain she didn't register that a male had come to her aid. But then she was again lost not in pain but in pleasure. But unlike her mother she didn't die. The male that came to mate with her infact claimed her as his mate. She was forever his. And as the first rays of sun shine came she came to realize that the male laying next to her was not a human but a demon.

Months later she came to give birth to their beautiful little daughter. And to their surprise she was full youkai but with the spiritual gifts of a miko aswell as the powerful gifts of a youkai.

She would be the most sought after child and later female in the land. A profecy was fortold that 4 guards with crytal hearts would come to guard and remain loyal to the Cresent Moon the small Lady Ariko......
