Teen Wolf: The last time I watched anything on MTV regularly it was Daria and Aeon Flux. I guess I'd expected that us being a decade into the 21st century, we'd be past racial segregation on MTV. We are not. Sigh. Apparently, this movie takes place in a small town entirely made up of preppy pretty white kids with problems and their parents. I like the werewolf bits, I really do, but I'm having a hard time giving a ******** about the actual incredibly boring and selfish characters. Me: Let me get this straight, you are willing to risk killing a few people to win a lacrosse game? WTF is wrong with you? Have you no soul?
And yes, I do know how important Lacrosse is at prep school. Our League played it in spring, not fall, and it was played for blood. (We had both women and men's teams). It was indeed a sport for the popular people. To give you an idea how rough play got, a guy in my graduating class snapped his thigh bone in two playing. (He said he heard the loud crack and knew he was not going to be okay). I personally hated playing the game, never watched one I wasn't playing in, and switched to track as soon as I was old enough, but I still get it.
I still don't think it's worth someone dieing for.
