The name of your game is "Victoria Cyber". It is an indie-game set in a Victorian-esque future that is just oozing cyber-punk charm. (Steampunk eat your heart out!) The title sequence opens with a cut-scene in "Neo-Soho" (a sub-city of New-Neo-New London) where an assassin tries to kill what appears to be a very rich but harmless looking old man. He fails, however, because the old man is really the greatest hand-to-hand combatant in the known galaxy. The assassin escapes and his identity is never known. But the attack leaves the old man wounded to the point that he will soon die (soon here means several months, maybe even a year). He must search for a successor before time runs out! What does he do...? HE SPONSORS HIS OWN MARTIAL ARTS TOURNAMENT!
Your character is one of seven starting characters. Not only are you a starting character, you're on the box art. You share the box art with a very charming and finely dressed young woman with generous cleavage and a low-cut bust-line. Your character's back story (and I don't usually do back story, but this is fun) is that you are the estranged son of the old man in the cut-scene. You had a falling out a few years ago and he cut you out of his will (which is why you aren't automatically his successor). After you heard about his attack you rushed to the manor house to see how he was doing but he wanted nothing to do with you and would not see you. You have entered the tournament to win the inheritance that is your birthright, but more importantly than that... to win back your father's respect and approval.
