Frigid winds claw at my bare skin
While the moon mocks me from the sky
Trees turn their intricate shadows from my face
As I lose my body and my soul
I feel the change from deep inside,
My muscles bulging against the cold
And as the winds rip my skin apart
And my stomach rolls,
My heart endures the endless pain
My frozen joints snap in the silence
My bones throb with what's to come
And as I take my last look home
My human skin falls away
And I lose myself to the wolf within
