I had a dream about you last night,
I haven't seen you in 2 years,
I could feel you right there in my arms,
I've had this crush on you since school.

You knew it then, but chose to stay with her,
I could have treated you like the angel you are,
Instead she treats you like s**t, why did you do it?
You married her just for the sake of your child, was it worth it?

Do you feel happy now? I wanted to make you happy forever,
From what I see on Facebook you're not really happy inside,
I was ready to give you the world, why did you disregard it?
She wont even let me call you, I'm pretty sure she checks your Facebook too.

You don't respond to my email anymore,
Just because you moved away doesn't mean I don't think about you,
I've thought about you almost every day since the day I met you,
Boyfriends have come and gone, but the way you made me feel that night is not forgotten.

I had a dream about you last night,
We were back together, the way I had always wanted,

I've come to realization I'll never have you.

I wish the dreams would stop teasing me about the life i'll never have.
