so. chicago yesterday and this morning.

pretty okay. :]

left at 5 for the airport, was a very short flight (only 45 minutes), got picked up by Sunny & Leo (her bf), then drove until we hit the Art Institutes of Chicago or something until we were all art'd out lol, then we went to Navy Pier (really freaking cold & abandoned outside hah) and saw Tron in the Imax theater, then we went to Chinatown for some good ol' chinese food. :]

which was to say, pretty epic. *huge grin* awesome food, and ALL EATEN WITH CHOPSTICKS SURROUNDED BY MORE ASIANS AND CHINESE WORDS AND TALKING THAN I'VE EVER SEEN OR HEARD BEFORE. xDD

was quite comical to watch me eat, methinks: i'd struggle to get some food, then all of a sudden i'd be able to pick up anything, and then i'd stop eating to drink or talk or text or something then i'd completely forget how to use the chopsticks so i had to learn all over again. xD

so after that, sunny and i went back to her host family's place for the night. pretty cool...

they are health nuts, and very organized and kind of the ideal family. the mom is the VP at sunny's school (btw there they all call her "Qing" (="ching" wink , and she says it's weird versus me calling her sunny haha), and i can't remember what the dad does, but he reminds me of karen's bf's dad.... anywho, they have two young girls: Olivia is 6 and Gigi (zomg EPIC NAME) is 4. ^^ i met both the girls at breakfast (pancakes just like how mommy makes them, an epic omelet with all sortsa healthy good stuff inside, pineapple pieces, and milk) the next morning, and for awhile they were both super shy, but then when i was playing with the GPS in sunny's room Gigi walks up to me and whispered "do you want to see my toys?" and she looked all shy and cute xD

so for the next two hours i seriously had the time of my life playing with little plastic ponies with some girls in the basement of a house in chicago. xDD

then i had to leave...

Leo drove us to mom's hotel, and we all ate leftovers of ASCP's buffet and they left and i went upstairs to take a shovver, then we proceeded to wait at the airport for like 4 hours because mom's meeting got done early. :S

and i'm still sleep-deprived. ((O.O))





other than that, life pretty much sucks right now.
