I can't catch up with it. My goodness, how many hours, days, years have I wasted, sitting before a computer. Gaining knowledge about the world through virtual reality. But is it truly virtual? All the interactions are the same, there just aren't faces to see every day, only names. I like it that way. I can hide behind a few letters and live without judgement. I'm not a great person, but I like who I am. Anyone that doesn't like it can kiss my a**, I am who I am.
But anyway. Yes. I feel like I've lost the last five years of my life, but at the same time, I feel like I've lived more than most of the people I know. I remember a time when I was eleven, and suddenly I'm almost sixteen? Where did those years go? How far have I come? Where am I now? Where will I be in the next blink of an eye?
How much do I know? How much do I have to learn?
Who am I, and who will I become? I think that's what I'm afraid of most. Who will I become?
Oh well. I'm going to live my life as I have been. Simply because I like it that way.
I just wish I could stop time for a little while. I want to be a kid for a few more years. Ahh.
