B A C K G R O U N D - H I S T O R Y: Since discovering the town of Yorkshire, there has been a slew of both tragedies as well as positive events that Gnade has encountered. Some tragedies included seeing her home town completely destroyed and being used by Cain in a manner that caused Alex physical and emotional pain. On the positive side, she met Alex and he has since become her mate, and she has also found the older brother that she thought long dead. Since the original incidents in Yorkshire, Gnade has two small children with Alex, and she worries daily for them because of many complications she experienced while pregnant. She and Alex work together to keep them safe, though, especially from the world that would hunt their entire family if they brought attention to themselves.

B A C K G R O U N D - H I S T O R Y: Yaziel is an old, violent, and very highly-wanted demon for his crimes against humanity. He was very high up on the hunters’ wanted list, known for being very, very messy. He often left a bloody mess wherever he went, but there was no sign of him. He was in, he did his job, and he was out. For three hundred years he has eluded capture, and avoided any intimate contact with any human except to his own selfish desires… And then he met Kyden. That one human tore down the demon’s defenses in only a few days, revealing a broken demon whose desire only to be loved by another led him to experience such hurt that the desire to be loved warped into a desire to be feared. He had never wanted to feel that pain again, and so began going to great lengths to protect this companion, even asking the help of Cain the Harbinger. Later, when Kyden became a demon, they officially became lovers. After almost losing his mate to Lafaeyl, Yaziel swore he would never let Kyden out of his sight. He experienced a painful beating by Cain that left him without his right eye. He is also a legend among demons, now, seeing as he is the first to have ever survived a fight with the Harbinger.

B A C K G R O U N D - H I S T O R Y: Illuthis is a creature that is neither benevolent nor malicious. In essence she is controlled chaos, created by a void in the realm between dreams and reality that is opened when a human mind is between a state of wakefulness and sleep. She does not go out of her way to harm people, but she makes no effort to protect them. After all, they have been hunting her for years. Why should she help them? When she heard about the events that transpired in Yorkshire, she thought it would be worth investigating. And imagine all of the dreams that she could find... It seemed like an opportunity that she couldn't afford to miss, and so she didn't. Yet the chaos that she found was nothing like what she'd expected. There are even more descendants of the man who made her here, and they seem to have enlisted the help of others in tracking her down and hunting her. It is only a matter of time before they find her.

Since their last meeting, however, she has grown in power. She is a physical being now, and able to shift her shape to her needs. She can blend in with the crowd, and slip into the Dream World undetected. She can invade their minds as they sleep if she so chooses... But will she?

B A C K G R O U N D - H I S T O R Y: Oh, what is there to say about Ziggurat... Far too much, perhaps. Ziggurat is a vicious b*****d. Combine the already-nasty temperament of a demon with the chaotic and selfish nature of a Fae, and you have a volatile being. Drawn to Yorkshire by the rumors of madness and destruction, he has done his best to prepare for being surrounded on all sides by iron. It involves a heavy Glamour and a potion that he must drink every hour, and it will only make the presence of iron tolerable. Too long and he must get out of the city, and he still can't touch it. Having been quite forcefully removed from the Unseelie Court, Ziggurat finds himself without a home and thus is a wandering force of destruction. He has mastered his demonic side and uses it to sow unrest and fear where he can, for the sheer enjoyment of watching people run around like ants, terrified and screaming.

Though he has no destination--even Yorkshire will likely be a temporary stop--and no apparent path, he is not lost. He simply has no permanent home. If one could tempt him into an alliance, it would be shaky but far better than having him for an enemy. Oh, and don't let him get near a mirror... Do not face him alone.
