I can hear the songs of the wind again
I can hear the singing in the waves again
I can hear the breath of the trees again
I can hear the whisper in the rain again
I can hear the giggles of the flowers again
I can hear the stories in the sea shells again
For a time I was so deaf
My eyes blind and my feelings numbed
But my old cold heart
Has been thawed in the dead of winter
I can hear it once again; that poem of many a moon ago
The poem without words
