I'm definitely thinking that if that's Sam, it's not all of him. His soul or empathy or his best qualities or whatever clearly didn't make it back.

I think it makes sense that Cas is more like he was in season four. He's been out of the human world for a year, and he's gone alien again, which makes sense. I'm not sure how I feel about the uber-plot. I rather wish they'd gone non-Western this season, but ah well. Really, I'm just happy to have Cas back.

I'm still not really happy with this season, but I'm hanging in, as I felt this way about season 5 too.
