September 28, 2010, my ex-boyfriend turned 21, and I gave him some gifts he loved, including this poem. I was afraid of making this into a love poem, cause even after being in three relationships, I still hold my eternal feelings for him. I'm trying to move along while loving him, which he knows I'm doing. I just decided to post this up because I've been thinking about the subject of not being able to control one's dreams, in which case, I honestly can't, they all come to me. Therefore, Craig does in my dreams, making it hard to not think about him, despite I still love him in the way I've always had. Anyways, I couldn't help but post this up, and he doesn't mind about his full name, it's like on MySpace and Facebook anyways. heart heart
Thee clock has stricken upon an midnight moon
An day has arrived, an day when you first appeared upon this world
Threads of autumn twilight glisten upon your hair
Like the everlasting trees blowing their leaves gently against the wind
Ye to be rested, ye to celebrate in rejoice
Countless days, set forth upon thy age of 21
Restless, with wandering dreams within your sweet heart
May all your dreams and wishes come true
Embrace thee day, it comes once each and every long year
Forget of your worries, may ye not be of a hurting heart
May ye not sleep restless, may ye not be alone
The number 21 is an age; it’s given day a day to eternally remember
Those beautiful eyes shine of thee starry night
Wandering out into ye dreams and wishes, everything ye can imagine
Today, may everything come true, today, may the world around, celebrate
Today, a day to seek the good of your life and thy future
Brought into this world, what others see as a demon, a sweet angel with strong wings
A life, friendships, love, happiness, and spirit all brought to you through birth
A name that no other shall carry, wandering upon thee Earth
Horace Craig Greeley,
I wish upon ye an happy 21st birthday
