Synopsis: Arthur Dent gets sucked up into the big, big universe on a crazy train ride when his house (and his planet) get demolished for a bypass. He goes from one end of the universe to the other, back and forth in time, in a witty and incredibly british sense of humor. All because he couldnt "get the hang of Thursdays."
The Salmon of Doubt
By Douglas Adams
Status: Read
Rating: 4
Synopsis: A collected works of Douglas Adams, taken from his trusty MAC computer shortly after his death. It was supposedly the title of the last and final Dirk Gently book, and even has an exerpt from the unfinished book. Witty, very funny, and somewhat sarcastic, as only Adams can deliver.
Robotech Series (12 book series, spanning 3 generations)
By Jack McKinney
Status: Read
Rating: 4
Synopsis: So Im not listing all 12 books. Its a wonderful scifi series (either based on the anime or vice versa) and takes part in 3 generations. The first generation (books 1-6) takes place on the SDF-1, a collasal intergallatic spaceship that had fallen to earth and the humans rebuilt. The Zendredi (working for the Robotech masters, the owners of that spaceship) want it back. In a failed attempt to hyperspace just beyond the moon, the SDF-1 ends up on the outskirts of Pluto, with the entire population of Macross city, as well as the soldiers. The main character is named Rick Hunter (Robotech Defense Forces) and he shares the spotlight with Lisa Hayes and Max Sterling. The Second Generation (books 7-9) takes place back on earth several years after the first gen ends and follows Max Sterlings daughter Dana as she helps to defend earth from the Robotech masters who want to salvage the remains of the SDF-1 for the Flower of Life (the nectar of all proptoculture, their power scource for their mecha). The 3rd generation (books 10-12) takes place on earth when a young RDF named Scott from the SDF-3 crash lands there after his crew and ship get destroyed. He gets together a ragtag team of earthlings to help rid the world of its current invasion of Invid, the Robotech Masters last attempt to recapture the protoculture.
(Takes a deep breath) Its a good series and a really easy read. They were written in the early/late 80's and the anime is seriously old school.

It's also about Tag, a young Burmilla kitty, who has been chosen by the wise, one eyed cat Majicou to be his apprentice. He is to find the King and Queen of cats and bring them to Tintgel before the spring equinox before the alchemist gets to them first. The Alchemist's (who is heavily implied to be Isaac Newton, strange I know...) goal is the Golden Cat who he believes the Queen of cats will give birth to. If the Alchemist were to get his hands the Golden Cat the world may never be safe again... (from what I have no idea, I forget what the golden cat does)
The Wild Road is one of my absolute favorite books. My favorite character also being the strange but cute little tabby Cy. :3
