Little lost butterfly, your wings have shattered Glass pierces your skin as you fumble Take the fall as the metallic blue surrounds you Icy black tears fall down your cheek You silently and alone have death overwhelm you
The moonlight flowers glow on the pale skin The glass wings have shattered never to move again Butterflies surround you, although they can't help The blue has dried around you and soaked into the ground But someone came to help you He only came because he loves you
Soon the love fades into nothing but a lie And he once leaves you broken again The shattered wings can never be tended You lay there alone within the grove of flowers and wait to time to kill you But time always seems to go no where, leaving you frozen
