What's been going on?
Well this week or so has been rather calm and slow. Not much going on really.

Secondhand stores
Earlier during the week Jessica and I went out to all the thrift stores in our area looking for any goodies we may find. Not to my surprise, we found nothing. All mostly useless stuff (to me anyhow) In one of the stores we did find a small bag (behind a glass counter that also held jewlery and whatnot) that contained about 9 or 8 Tamagotchis for about $8. 8 dollars was too much for what I'd pay for those things, so we waited to see if they'd survive throughout the week and nab 'em for a deal on Sunday. This paticular place sells things that have a certain tag on it for 60% off on Sundays. Fortunately, they did survive the week [didn't get bought]. Got the whole bag for like $3, which is more than a deal in my book.


Only two of them are actually genuine Tamagotchis.

Free Slurpee day
On every seventh month on the eleventh day, 7-11 gives slurpee away for free. Hence the fact that the day is "7-11". My mom drove us to the local 7-11 here in my city to get them, not to my surprise, the cups in which they give the free drink in are super tiny. Approximately "7.11oz" to be exact. Naturally I got the Coca-Cola flavored one, I usually never get any other. I like what I like. lol

Pier
Today we decided to go the beach and take a walk on the pier. I haven't been over here to this part of my city for almost 2 or 3 years. No particular reason, just wasn't interested enough to go. So anyway, 2PM-ish we walked over there. It's pretty close to where Jessica lives. The weather was a weird 'kinda cold and kinda warm sorta windy too' weather. There were quite a few people over here at this time, it is summer after all, heh. The beach was mostly clean of litter and things like that, but still smelled funky. I just think I forgot what the usual typical oceany and fishy smell of a beach was like. It was nice walking on the pier, but it got pretty cold and windy the further we walked out. Took some pictures. Lots of people fishing and stuff like that. There aren't any good fish to catch over here, it's generally a 'bad' fishing spot but they do it anyway, eh. Some folks were trying to catch crabs using baited nets too. By the time we got to the end of the pier it got really cold and we didn't stay there for too long. Took a panoramic photo. Walked back to the entrance of the pier. Walked along the beach for a while. Took more pictures. Walked home and that's pretty much it. We went to Vons later on to get more groceries.

Random facts about me

- I'll never drink store brand Coca-Cola, it's over-sweet and generally isn't close enough to the original for me to enjoy drinking.

- I've haven't fully broken a bone before, though I did have my middle finger fractured when I was like 11 years old.

- I almost always wear a jacket. It's just my style. XD

- I generally don't like frosting on cake. It's just simply too sweet for me. >.<
