Byakko, Tiger of the Heavens

Ageless
ℜace:
Blessed Human
𝔓ersonality:
Many would describe Byakko as being "detached" or "distant". To them, it might seem this way- Byakko is a man of few words, preferring to stay in the background, waiting and watching. As a man who believes that knowledge is power, Byakko strives to not only gather as much knowledge of his enemies as possible, but to also conceal as much information about himself as possible. Hence, he does not speak much, choosing to let others divulge their information, while giving them nothing in exchange. In public, this is typically how he acts- he is unobtrusive and subdued, trying to stand out as little as possible.
While he is by himself, or with close friends, Byakko becomes less guarded, though he does still maintain his defenses, should an enemy by nearby. His language, though more eloquent, is still terse and to the point. Because of his military bearing, Byakko is used to the language used on the battlefield- words are not wasted on petty things; any speech is restricted to issuing orders and following them. Though he means no offense, he may even speak to his friends in this manner, as if he were giving them commands. Old habits die hard.
Morally, Byakko is quite flexible- though he does have his boundaries. Keeping in line with his military upbringing, Byakko believes heavily in honor and duty. However, his more pragmatic nature leads him to make choices that are to his own benefit usually- no matter if such a choice is morally reprehensible. If it is to his advantage to do so, Byakko will become as cold-blooded as necessary- this includes defending his honor, or what he believes in. His flexibility stems from his belief that there is no right nor a wrong. Instead, in war and near anything else, there is only victory or death- and he intends to be on the side that wins. This does not mean that he will betray his comrades- this would be against his honor. Instead, this means that Byakko will go through any means to ensure that his side is the victorious one.
𝔄ppearance:
𝔚eapons:
Byakko requires no weapon. As a master of the art of war, Byakko proudly wears the title of Weapons Master as well- any object, in his hands, becomes deadly. This skill, when combined with his prowess in martial arts as well as potent magic, makes Byakko a powerful ally and an even more deadly adversary.
Byakko requires no weapon or focus to execute his skills- hands, feet, tooth and claw all suffice. His body is a weapon in and of its self- deceptively thin, most underestimate his strength. However, tightly bunched muscles, trained for the highest efficiency between size and power, make him as deadly as the sleek tiger, ready to leap upon its prey. Blessed, and mutated, by the heavens, his body has been given special power. His strength and agility are of the highest caliber, while his quick reflexes, tactical knowledge, and lightning fast wit honed his mind into a finely tuned weapon. His senses of sight, smell, and hearing are all enhanced- this is easy to spot in his cat-like ears and eyes. Finally, his nails are extended and as hard as the finest of tempered steel, as well as being capable of retracting.

Worldshaper:
This is Byakko's lone power- but it is more than enough in battle. First and foremost, Byakko is a tactician of the battlefield. Due to his superior skill and knowledge, he has yet to lose a war- and it is this power that has given him the greatest advantage of all. Using the ki of nearby organisms, Byakko can change the conditions of the battlefield to fit his needs. Any living organism within the range of his sight (his line of sight being the radius of the circle of his influence), if not sufficiently powerful (otherwise read as other player characters, who can resist this technique), will have their ki slowly drained from them. This ki can be freely manipulated by Byakko, the ki being able to take on the three states of matter; gas, liquid, and solid. The shape can be changed at will, and by compressing the ki in different ways, Byakko can change its state of matter as well as certain properties. True to his name, Byakko is the season of Fall- under his withering gaze, all life slowly begins to die, eventually falling into the spell of Winter...
𝔄ct ℨero:
Byakko is only one of many incarnations of the Celestial Tiger- or rather, this is only one of the bodies his soul has inhabited. As legend tells it, the White Tiger will appear once a just and fair emperor rules the land. The White Tiger has lived under many names and bodies, waiting for the day that this emperor appears. His slow transformation from human into beast heralds this cosmic event- when Byakko fully becomes a tiger, it is said that this day will arrive. However, until then, Byakko will forever be reincarnated into human bodies- both a blessing and curse.
Each of Byakko's lives is extended to twice that of a normal human being, making his average life-span 150 years old. This also accounts for his youthful appearance- he ages twice as slow as humans. However, while his body may be young, his mind is eternal. Byakko remembers parts of each of his liftetimes, though his lives are so numerous that he has lost track of them, remembering only the most prominent among them. However, one common theme between all his lives is that he has led a life filled with violence- whether it be as a martial artist or as a powerful general.
The first body the Celestial Tiger began to inhabit was that of Zhang Fei, one of the Five Tiger Generals of China. Serving under Liu Bei, The Five Tiger Generals- Guan Yu, Zhang Fei, Zhao Yun, Ma Chao and Huang Zhong- established the state of Shu Han; a powerful empire that rose after the fall of the Han Dynasty. Zhang Fei and the other Generals led the kingdom of Shu Han to glory against the two other competing kingdoms. Deeming Zhang Fei, a fiercely loyal man, worthy as a host, the Celestial Tiger merged with his soul upon Zhang Fei's death, ensuring that it stayed within the circle of reincarnation.
With each new reincarnation, Byakko's host body became more and more distorted into that of a tiger's. Slowly but surely, this has granted his mortal shell certain benefits; prolonged life, super human ability and powerful magics among them. As his body steadily rose in power, changing into monstrosity as well, Byakko began to shun most human contact, residing within monasteries and temples that would hide his secret. With little else to do, Byakko quickly became a master at the martial arts, as well as ki manipulation.
However, the winds of fate begun to change; the four other Celestial Beasts have come out of hiding. Joining his kin, Byakko enters the world once more, in search of someone or something...
