So my lovely journal...today Raina called me to come hang out at the mall...it wasn't really a mall, but a small set of stores...
i sat at the table in front of the Smoothie Shoppe. Raina was on her cell and talking to Lyon.
"Well if she has to come then it's ok i guess," I had a feeling she was talking about Yaelyn. The blonde never ceased to be rude or obnxious.
"Ok, him too?" I sipped my smoothie and watched an evil smile grace her lips. I wondered what was going on, but she suddenly slapped the phone shut, "Lets go shopping before they get here, Yaelyn makes it hard to truly enjoy buying clothes."
Shop after shop we searched for something that would make Raina happy. She found a shirt that she liked but put it back. The shirt i found i really liked. it was light lavender and had a music staff across it. i smiled and paid for it. We finished and went to wait for Lyon outside the Cafe. only a few minutes passed before they arrived. Lyon and Yaelyn, followed by Kanryun, the boy from my art class.
I blushed lightly and felt my heart flutter. He was as stoic as ever, but i was beginning to think it was because he was shy. Yaelyn glared at me and sat between Raina and her brother, but moved when she saw Kanryun would be beside me. I smiled to myself, it was obvious the girl liked him.
After we ordered, Raina began to talk about the "Welcome back o School Dance".
"It'll be like a mini prom!" she squealed, "Were going to be voting for dance Lady and Lord!" she grinned, "Im going to buy my dress today!"
Lyon blushed, "You don't have a date yet...do you?" Raina blushed lightly and shook her head.
"No," she took a sip of her drink, "Why?" i noticed the feel of want.
He smiled lightly and went back to eating. Raina looked disapointed and began to eat as well.
Yaelyn took a bolder attempt to get someone to ask her, "So Ryun, have you asked anyone?" She batted her lashes over her liquid amber eyes.
The redhead shook his head and sipped his soda, "No, i dont think im gonna go."
Yaelyn grinned, "well i dont have a date either, wanna go as friends?"
He shrugged and didnt say a word. The blonde girl scowled and ate her food.
We went to some dress shops and Raina ran strait to a rack of dresses. She tried on a short one that was red and had a black sash tied around the waist. I liked it but she said it wasnt right for this dance. She also found a longer dress that was split uup the side, "Too...revealing for this dance..." Then my neww friend found what she called the perfect dress. It was gothic lolita style, wth black lace and a knee long skirt. she adored it, "Py, you just have to get this dress too!!"
She handed me a lavender version of the dress, but i shook my head, "No i like this one..."I picked up another Lavender Lolita dress that wasnt gothic, it was white as well with lace. The front was open in the skirt, but there were several layers of frilled laces and fabrics. Yaelyn grabbed a simple green dress she liked and we paid for the dresses and left.
It was fun and im beginning to like my new friends n.n lots of love
