❖Story of my Life❖
❖❖❖Sayuri grew up raised by her father, because her mother died in childbirth. He taught her how to fight with a traditional Japanese katana, because he strictly followed the code of bushido and did not like the dawn of new technology and the industrial revolution. He preferred the traditional ways. However, Sayuri was always fascinated with science and new inventions, and yet, she still embraced the past.
When Sayuri turned 14, her father sent her off to live with her cousin, who was a weaponsmaster in the Socialist Kingdom of Britannia. This was the first time she rode aboard an airship. After that experience, she then realized how wonderful it was to be in the skies; she made it one of her goals to join an airship crew at some point. In the Socialist Kingdom of Britannia, she learned how to speak English and other western languages there, and became quite fluent. Her cousin taught her how to use a gun, and she received one of his well-made steel revolvers as a gift. She wields both a gun and a katana confidently. While with her cousin, she read many books on politics as well as technology, and made herself into a highly educated woman. She is not a mechanic, but she knows enough that she can fix up some things herself.
Sayuri is not exactly sure what side she is on yet, but after leaving her cousin's house, she is now simply wandering about. She is a wanderer at heart, though; she does not like to stay in one place for too long. However, she longs for the skies.
