1. i think you should use...im not quite sure what to call it...but its basically a sheet of foam but covered with a plastic layer. its not styrofoam. its a dense foam. you can find it at art stores like Michaels.

2. basically you would have 4 layers. bottom layer would be the base of the headphone.
2nd layer would be the layer that the wires run into. 3rd layer would be the thin layer with its edges painted gold, the final layer with the black design wouldn't even have to be that foam stuff, it could be bristleboard.
bottom layer is pink. 3rd layer is green. 2nd layer is blue. final layer is yellow.

3. for the wings, i would just buy some white feathers and glue them together at an angle to make them look like wings.
i think you know what the wings are... razz

4. for the intricate design i would make a template using some kind if sticker paper (i dont know the proper term for it) so its sticky on one side. stick it onto the the circular bristleboard cutout and spraypaint the design, let dry, then peel the template off. then stick some silver jewels onto the appropriate places or simply use dots of silver paint.
the design is the sky blue colour.

4. for that white and red wire part....i would use a white clothing hanger, heat it up and mold it. it'll be sturdy. the take some thick red wire and wind it around it.
wires are outlined in red colour.

5. for the wire with the microphone attached to it...i would use the foam stuff again to cut out a tiny cylinder that will attach the microphone wire to the main headphone.
this cylinder is dark green.

6. then use white clothing hangers again for the wire...that will keep its shape and not bend everywhere.
this wire is dark purple.

7. cut out another cylinder of that foam stuff to connect to the wire and paint a gold patch onto it.
this cylinder is a deep red colour.
