Back Story: Kaiva is the epitome of the successful self-made man. At a young age, he was introduced to the world of entrepreneurship and unfortunately, black market dealings. Though the source of his wealth is hush-hush, where he spends his money is not so inconspicuous. He lives in a fancy estate, complete with a garden that rivals Versailles and dozens of unused but highly furnished rooms. He runs across Meliah at her birthday party, which was more like a disguised political campaign than a party. He falls in love with her, but learns that she is already engaged. Unfazed, Kaiva sends her ostentatious gifts and eventually gets on bad terms with Beaux, her fiancee.
