I am currently working on my fan fiction right now. I will be editing the pages with new ideas in mind. I believe there are eight other chapters. But I will not be creating any more until all of this is finished.
Here is a preview of the new edited version of "Sasuke Returns".

Ever since Uchiha Sasuke had left the village, Naruto found himself becoming more and more reckless. But he was so determined to bring Sasuke back that it didn't even matter. If there was anything that Naruto could do to bring squad seven back together, he would do it in a heartbeat. Risking his own life in the process. Everyone in the village thought that it was pointless to bring Sasuke back. He had already made up his mind. They figured that it would be easier to just let it go. But they did not know Sasuke as much as Naruto did. As much as Sakura or Kakashi. They weren't around him all of the time. His personality pushed people away. The only reason Naruto, Kakashi, and Sakura got to know him more was because they were stuck with him when it was decided who would be on squad seven. At first, Naruto didn't like the idea. But when the days went on.. he realized how much alike they were.
When Naruto finally caught up to Sasuke, they had very little to talk about before they were soon interrupted by a passerby. Naruto and Sasuke never got to see the figure's face because the person had on a cloak. It was not one of the Akatsuki members. However, the eerie feeling about him seemed somewhat familiar. And the technique that the male used.. he heard about it from Kakashi.
"Stay away from him," Kakashi would say. "He is bad news.."
But it was a little too late for that. Naruto didn't even feel his presence until the cloaked man was standing right behind him, shoving a kunai deep into his back and into his heart. Naruto's eyes shot open as he began to tremble in pain. Blood spurted out of his mouth as Sasuke watched in horror. Naruto then fell to the ground, unable to move as his vision began to fade. As Naruto was slowly dying.. he could hear Sasuke calling out to him. A while later, the figure in the cloak was holding Sasuke's heart within his grasp while he was stepping on Naruto's body. An evil chuckle escaped the man's lips. The whole area was surrounded in blood as mist filled the air. Lifeless bodies continued to lay on the ground. At least.. that is what it appeared to be. It was actually the male's jutsu; An illusion.
Naruto was unconscious on the ground, and blood was spilling from Sasuke's deep wounds. In reality, his heart had not been taken out of him. In reality, Naruto's heart had not been stabbed. However, Sasuke did find it hard to keep on moving. And yet he wrapped his arms around Naruto's body as he picked him up and carried him away into the darkness when the other figure had finally disappeared.
Sasuke's eyes were filled with tears as he bit down on his lip. He began to blame himself for this happening to Naruto. If it wasn't for him, Naruto wouldn't have been there. Naruto would not have chased him this far. But why was he upset? Sasuke had left the village, abandoning everything he had. He tried to kill Naruto with his own two hands, so why was he helping Naruto now? He should have just let Naruto die.
As the days went by, Naruto began to slowly wake up. At first he thought that the whole situation was just a dream. But when he looked around, he realized that he was resting within a hospital. Sakura sitting besides him.
Once she took notice of Naruto slowly opening his deep blue eyes, she frowned and gave an annoyed huff. "It's about time you woke up. It's been almost six days now."
"Sasuke?!" Naruto gasped out in shock as he quickly sat back up in bed. Unfortunately, to his dismay, it wasn't exactly who he was hoping for. But of course not. Why would Sasuke want to stay? He is a Rogue ninja. He left the village for a reason.
"Huh..? What do you mean--"
"Have you seen him?!" Naruto questioned as he cut his teammate Sakura off. "Sasuke, I mean.. He.. He brought me here and.."
"Wait a minute! You saw Sasuke?!" At first it was kind of hard to believe. They haven't seen him in like.. forever. Although, Naruto wouldn't lie about these kind of things. Wherever Sasuke was, she wanted to do everything she could to find him.
"Yeah! But I guess he ran off again..." Naruto said with a groan. "But don't worry! I'll bring him back. Dattebayo!"
"You say that, but.. look how many years its been."
Naruto couldn't find the right answer to say as he sat quietly in the small hospital room. Maybe it was hopeless, but he couldn't just let his best friend slip away like that! Even after all that he did, Sasuke had a good reason for it. Naruto wouldn't agree on everything, but people are different, and you have to accept that. People make their own choices. And they have to make tough decisions. Sasuke isn't the type of person to follow in another's footsteps. And it is his life, after all.
"Look... Just forget it. He's never coming back. After all that we've been through.. Maybe he just doesn't care anymore."
"Shut up!" Naruto shouted, which seemed to catch Sakura off guard as she gave him a questioning look. "I told you... I never go back on my word! Sure, it's been a long time.. but he still brought me here anyway, right? So he must care! And I'm not gonna quit trying just because he's too stubborn to return. I'm bringing him back no matter what! You love him, right? So just wait for him. I'm not going back on my word... and you shouldn't give up either!"
Naruto pulled himself out of bed carefully and walked off, slamming the door from behind him. Sakura watched closely as her eyes slowly lowered down in thought. "You're not doing this for me... are you, Naruto? You... You love him too."
Once Naruto left the building, he ran back to the place where he had found Sasuke. It was dark and empty there, besides the trees which were parting ways to give a small amount of moonlight shining down on the land. Cold air brushed past Naruto as he gazed up into the sky. The figure within the tree caught his attention when he found that it was Sasuke.
"Sasuke...?!"
"...?"
"I f-finally found you..." Naruto panted before he ended up passing out. Naruto fell to the ground as sweat covered his figure. He ran all that way, and his body was still injured from his previous battle.
I did it again... didn't I? He's probably gone by now. Damn, I should curse my bad luck.
Naruto opened his eyes to meet a pair of dark black eyes staring down at him with a bit of annoyance. Naruto just stayed there, his eyes widening with shock as his mind was filled with thoughts.
"...You're such an idiot.." Sasuke exclaimed.
"Sasuke!" Naruto threw his arms up to wrap them around his former teammate's neck to pull him into a tight embrace, Sasuke now attempting to break free from his grip.
"Alright! Alright! Let go already! You're gonna injure yourself even more...!"
"I don't care!" Naruto tried to hide his tears as he rested his head on the Uchiha's shoulder, his arms still placed around him. Sasuke was surprised at Naruto's actions, but he didn't try to push him away. For now, at least. He just allowed himself to be hugged, but he didn't dare hug him back.
"...Why did you come here anyway? Aren't you supposed to be in the hospital?"
"I wanted to see you, that's why. And besides... I'm feeling better already!" Naruto ran his fingers through the other's raven hair as a small smile graced his lips. He didn't realize how affectionate he was being, or how Sasuke was beginning to get embarrassed by it.
"I haven't given up on bringing you back either."
"Hmph. You couldn't catch me even if you tried."
"Wanna bet?!"
That's when Naruto tackled and pinned Sasuke to the ground, straddling the Uchiha's waist to keep him down as his blue eyes glared down at his. Naruto was now grinning playfully and Sasuke's face was turning red as he looked off to the side. Naruto was such a tease. Did he know how bad Sasuke wanted to pull him into a kiss?
"Get the hell off of me!" Sasuke shouted. Ignoring his own true feelings as he tried to shove the other male off of him.
"Heh heh. Sasuke, you're turning into a tomato!" Naruto laughed.
Irritated with Naruto attached to him, Sasuke broke free from his grip and threw a fist at Naruto in order to get the idiot off of him. He had forgotten all about Naruto's injuries as Naruto fell to the ground and got knocked out. When he realized what he had done, Sasuke grunted softly and placed his hand up to his own forehead in thought. He couldn't just leave Naruto there like that after punching him, especially since Naruto was still wounded. That is when Sasuke decided to drag Naruto over to his layer, risking the chance of Naruto telling where Sasuke's whereabouts were.
When Naruto woke up once again, he felt a needle being shoved into his skin as a loud scream filled the room. Naruto quickly pulled his arm back to find Sasuke stitching it up. His eyes shot open as he clenched his fist. He was glad that Sasuke cared enough to help stitch him back together, but he didn't have to be so rough at it.
"Gyaaa! What the hell, Sasuke!? What was that for?"
"Che. It's your fault. You're the one who fell into my makibishi spikes."
"Well you shouldn't have punched me in the first place!" Naruto shouted.
Sasuke rolled his eyes and finished stitching Naruto. He put away the First Aid kit and pulled himself off of the sofa. As much as he wanted Naruto to be gone, it was too dangerous at that time. Any ninja could be lurking in the darkness, hidden within the trees. And even though he would push Naruto away, he still did not want him to get hurt. So Sasuke just gave a small groan and began to walk away.
"Hey!" Naruto called out to the Uchiha. "Where are you going?"
"You can stay here only for tonight. If you tell anybody where I am, you'll live to regret it." Sasuke scoffed and continued, " Do not take this the wrong way. The only reason I kept you alive was because of Madara's orders. If not for him, you would have already been dead."
After a moment of silence, Sasuke turned his gaze back on Naruto who was staring at a photograph left on the desk. He cocked a brow when he noticed that it was the picture that was taken when Sasuke was still in squad seven.
"You and I both know that I possess the Kyuubi." Naruto muttered, "If you hate me so much, you could have just left me there. Perhaps right now I'm not as strong as you, but I won't be taken down that easily either.You didn't have to stitch me up. I could have survived on my own. Even though you try to persuade me into thinking that you're my enemy, I still consider you my friend. And I think that you still consider me your friend too.."
