I bet your wondering why... why Im writing this, why I lost my only friend, why she's in treatment. Well it all started with these stupid slippers, I always wore them to school because my Roxy shoes cut the backs of my feet.( they are too big). It was cold in my house so I put on my slippers and my step mom said.
" whose are those?" like who did you steel those from. So I get all defensive because Im sick of her and say.
" there mine... you bought them for me like five years ago" Now she gets really mad.
" no kayssie the slippers i bought for you were white and those are gray, whose are they?"
Now I'm getting mad.
" Linda their mine I told you, YOU BOUGHT THEM!".
"KAYSSIE ITS NOT WORTH LYING ABOUT!"
" IM NOT LYING!"
"whatever kayssie go pack your bag I hope you have fun at your friends tonight". I walk away, I'm so pissed off and just want to punch something. Later that night about two hours after my dad dropped me off at my friend Miranda's house, we were at a club. ( I dont know what els to call it ) its just like a teen night at the community center. We were dancing and all of a sudden my step mom and my dad walk in. They tell me and miranda that they have to take us home. In the car nobody said a word. Alright now were at miranda's house and miranda's mom and my two parents are sitting around the table talking to us. ( me and miranda.) They say that they found a note in my book bag and it was talking about alcohol and huffing hair spray. Then they sat their and talked about miranda's problems. This went on for two hours, finally my dad thanked miranda's mom for letting us talk thing out and we left. (Im sorry if I skip around) The next day Miranda's mom July found a note in miranda's room talking about weed and stuff. So her mom put her in treatment. I haven't talked or seen her since. I have lost my only true friend... and its all my fault.
