Why do I even care
what they think about me
Why should I be scared
to be someone they don't see
I will be my own individual
not caring what others might say
Living life like a musical
with the passing of each day
I'll stand alone if I must
as friends change and leave
Being careful of whom I trust
and staying firm in what I believe
