Wishing and Wondering Why.

So days have past and you've moved on.
Boy, it didnt take you that long,
Man, I wish you werent gone.
Still there by my side,
But Im here forcing my feeling to hide,
Fightin' with the tide.

Im still wondering why,
We let this love here die,
You just said goodbye,
Wish you would have tried.

Wish I could press rewind,
and rewrite every line.
Wishing we could have worked, I believe could have worked out.
Without ah' doubt.
You and I could have made it,
The path was so brightly lit,
Why cant you get it?
Why couldnt we couldnt we have workout.
Why?
Thats all thats left, that question,
Nothing but this lesson.
