HMMMM.....iPASSION! iFUN! iLOVE! iART!

	Makes ME
	Makes ME

the rains are calming
they dance across my face
PLOP, PLOP, PLOP
at their rain-dance pace
music numbs me
better than shot or pill
all my nerves deaden
and swear to be still
food fills me
and makes me want sleep
if i consume too much
it comes easy and deep
pain awakens me
and makes me alive
so maybe i like it
i seek it and thrive
love sickens
its too tender and sweet
it makes other feelings
take the back seat
it intensifies
and heightens my senses
to look out for lies
and false pretenses
light makes me warm
and filled up with joy
you do the same
what a quaint little boy!
candy gives one thing
sugar intake
i shouldn't have much
for yours and my sake
you make me ill
full of strife and pain
but just as so
you make me sane
i'd like to keep you
here and there
wherever i am
never to share

i love this poem! it took me so long to write and it was frustrating b/c i kinda set myself up by giving it a rhythm....ya know...but anyway,i like the way it turned out. wink
