i sleep
a phantom visits my dreams
promises are made
i hear her voice
feel her skin
see her more vividly then reality can provide

i wake up
despair is apon me
the phantom is gone
the day slowly passes
i forget
i move on

i sleep
an angel visits me
she is so real
she tells me shes sorry
she asks for my forgiveness
she begs for me to take her back

i wake
I'm happy
i plan to call and accept her apology
except then i remember that it was a dream
I'm sad again
the day flys by I'm consumed for a wile but then i let it go

i sleap
im in a house
she is sitting beside me
she looks so nice, but ordinary like any other day
i look at her crossly and say "i know that this is a dream"
she looks sad shakes her head tells me every thing is ok
that ive been dreaming but that now im awake now
i believe, the fool that i am, her logic is sound

i wake
turmoil
i dont understand where i am
im in a room that doesnt look right
it looks like my room
then it dons on me, this is my room
this is reality not the other way around
my day is full of sadness, but mostly annoyance at my brain pulling tricks on me

i sleep
nothing for a long time
seems just like random bits of things
school, work, books, tv
jumbled together nothing interesting
missing pants, assignments late, narrator, the usual

i wake
i think I'm getting better
maybe I'm not crazy after all
reality is as it should be
solid
definite

i sleap
i am at a ball game
i take my seet on the stares
she comes and sits beside me
im a litle baffled, months of silence an this all of a sudden
she says she thinks she wants to be friends again

i wake
