She was a beautiful dog and a loving sister to Otis.
She was named after our big brother, Andrew, and she was a part of the family. emo
We all loved her and her constant energy. Nothing could keep her down.
And then one day, something seemed wrong. She didn't want to play and she seemed so sad. She had lumps on her neck. So we took her to the vet.
Time stopped. He told us she had lympoma. An incurable cancer.
Tears stained my eyes. I couldn't breathe.
She was put on medications and therapy. It seemed to be doing the trick, she was getting better.
Andrew even promised that he'd stop smoking if she got better...
But it didn't last. She got worse and worse until suddenly she started getting seizures.
Nothing we could do could stop those seizures.
We were vacationing in New York City when we got the call.
She had been having a seizure for an hour. They were going to put her down. All time stopped.
My mother and sister couldn't stop crying as I held them in my arms. I fought back tears. I had to be strong for them.
I wanted to be there with her. But instead, we were miles away from her.
I still struggle to be strong. My mother still cries sometimes. I'm always there for her when she does.
Andrea was our precious baby, and our entire family will miss her.
I shall never forget her.
We will always keep her in our memories and our hearts.
So good-night, my precious child. Keep dreaming and rest in peace forever.
