I started college last week. So far, it's going pretty well. Except for the fact that I'm having trouble doing my homework in one of my classes.
Most of my classes I either have to read or do my homework online. Well, I did part of my homework for one of my classes, but I can't do the other part because I had to fix the first part and my teacher hasn't graded it yet. burning_eyes *takes a deep breath, then exhales* Anyway, I think he said that we had to read chapter 3 and then do the homework. I read chapter 3 out of the book already, but because he hasn't graded my fixed assignment yet, I can't do the homework for chapter 3. It's really annoying. I've finished everything else for all of my other classes. So far, all I've had to do was read and do homework assignments online. Not that hard.
I find it very similar to high school. College has it's differences from high school, though. Mostly what you have to do and how you do it. And, the big thing that everyone knows, you have to pay for your classes. Fortunately for me, my community college accepted the statewide standardized test, but they put me in Intermediate Algebra because they don't exactly accept the math portion unless you make a certain score (I'm guessing it's probably somewhere around 2400). It's not very hard, it's mostly review from what I learned in high school. But I need to pass the class in order to take college algebra. At least, that's what my teacher told me. That would make sense.
The past weekend was okay. I went up to my old high school (is that what I use, even though I just graduated 3 months ago?) with two of my friends. I got to see a few of my teachers and friends up there. I can safely say that Nikkie was elated to see us. She grabbed me and Amber and hugged us tightly, each of us having at least one boob on her face. I think she was too excited to even care that our boobs were in her face. Strike that. Nikkie loves our boobs, but that's only because she thinks that they're perfect. Ha. Only when I wear a push-up bra. Otherwise, it was fairly uneventful, except for the fact that I went to see a show last night with Deven. We went to see Cirque Montage, which was quite interesting. But it sort of seemed like they were just showing off their skills. Maybe they don't have enough cast members to do a story line. I mean, it seemed like a pretty small group. They were good, though.
Well, I'd better go now. See ya!
