I got this stupid journal. I don't understand why I needed one, although for a while now I've had a lot on my mind. I should probably thank Elle for this, but my pride seems to stop me. Well anyway, yesterday me and Lucia were talking. I was nervous, because she's not outside that often, probably why her skin is always pale and pretty... Oh~ but I don't like her very much. She likes to complain about herself much too much. Not a very nice trait, since I don't want to baby someone with compliments.
My dad came home yesterday. He's such a butt, I swear. He keeps telling me I'm going to be sent away soon. It's ridiculous.

Lucia and I seemed to have held hands today. I really dislike her, she's such a little brat and we're almost eighteen already! I swear if she asks me to marry her I'm going to puke my brains out. I'd rather write in this book forever, which is probably possible since the pages are endless but whatever.

Lucia and I had a "moment". It was awkward and I really freaking hated it. She's gotten prettier, but she's obsessed with herself. I'm starting to really dislike this, and the fact that my family thinks she's amazi-perfect. Just freaking perfect. I don't feel like explaining it. And besides, this "moment" was only a kiss. Disgusting really.

The bright side is that I get to go to gifted classes, help with my technique, it's great. I'm thinking maybe this is the school I will go to. It's far away from Lucia so I can be away from that wicked she-devil.

This weird letter came to me while I was sleeping. It's an invitation to another academy. I was shooting for a different one but my parents probably grew some sympathy and put it there or something. Either way, I'm taking the opportunity. I guess luck really comes in odd forms!

- Avoid an/or burn letters from Lucia if I ever receive them.
- Have a cool roommate, of course!

I've just arrived at the Dream Dust Academy. So far I've met some interesting people. There's this guy, Blitz Van Zandt. He's quiet and kind of sarcastic and an allover anti social type (oh I hope that doesn't mess up my karma). But he seems like a good friend, really. Then there's that Temperance girl, she doesn't seem to particularly like me, but that's alright. We're probably not linked together. It's all good, really.
The only power sources I see in this place are electricity and solar energy. The plants are weird and they make me sleepy. But the food is good, at least their croissants.
Oh! And my roommate! I believe her name is Clo, and she's very scary. She likes to yell and hit people. I don't intentionally intend to offend her, but really, if she was just a little more normal.
Although she is much better than Lucia. She doesn't seem to be a vain type. That's good though, so maybe we can reconcile.
