I may yet make it to "(part 100)".... probably not. *sigh* so tiring.
1. Have you noticed how peeps will put their guns down the fronts of their pants for safe keeping? Isn't that kind of dangerous? I mean, what if the gun went off and they shot off their crotch and attached bits? Sure, it's a great place to store the gun ~ efficient storage spot, quick pull out.... make it look like you have a permanent and large hard-on.... but still. I wonder how many peeps have actually shot themselves doing it.
2. You know how they have the "fight or flight" defensive mechanism? Well, here's a modern version ~ "psycho b***h or curl up and be pitiful" defensive mechanism. Sorry guys, I couldn't think of a bisexual term for it (too lazy). Sticking with our female example... it's like after someone hurts a girl to a certain point she has those options. Kind of like the choice between "Okay, you've done enough damage. Hurt me again and I'm taking your balls and using them for softball practice." or "Please don't do that again... can't you see I'm harmless and hurting?"... something like that. There's just a limit to how much one person can take. Of course, the option one picks can vary depending on the amount of anger one has and one's basic personality.
3. People need to seriously rethink how they look at themselves. Well, a lot of people do, anyway. It's called logical, objective assessment. Meaning that you take a look at yourself without emotion or other's opinions influencing you. Know your flaws, but know your good points just as well. If your ego depends on what others say about you, you'd better have angels for friends and relatives, because otherwise you're ********. I mean, geez. It's great to be humble, but lets be realistic. And it's great to be proud, but there have to be limits on that too. Better yet ~ Don't think about how much you suck or how great you are at all!! BE NEUTRAL.
4. Going off of number 3 ~ have you ever heard the saying "It's hard to love a person who doesn't love themselves"? I think this statement is both correct and incorrect. It's hard to be with someone who doesn't love themselves, because their self loathing has a tendency to cause them to reject the other person as well and causes them to inflict damage someone who thought better of themselves wouldn't do. On the other hand, personality plays a big role in whether a person loves another person or not. A chauvinist pig is a chauvinist pig, no matter how much they love themselves.
5. Call me racist, but there are very VERY few American "manga" artists who can compete with most Japanese manga artists. It's not necessarily the amount of detail or art style either (though, those things definitely play their part). There's also the feeling that comes from the drawings. Frequently American art will be lacking a feeling of "life" or "movement" that Japanese artists seem to capture so well. A lot of American "manga" art doesn't even compete with the old Batman or Superman comic art. It's kind of sad, really. But, then again, frequently, American imitations of other countries things turn out to be crappy.
