ok the compy wants to download some crap soon, so I gotta be quick. I'll give more details of this past week if I remember them and I have time earlier.

Anyways. Judging. Got grand champion with my sewn butterfly (the one I took to that contest thingy where we got lost (oh the memories) and I made a song ^^), and state fair lineup with everything else except my 2 photography things. -.-;; I hate that judge. She is there every year, and because of her, we no longer have poster-size exhibits with multiple pictures because she always shoots those down hard. And absolutely EVERYONE mats their pictures in black, because that's what she likes. Dammit I hate her... she is ruining the idea of individualism... makes everyone conform to what she likes... personally I don't really give a rip what she likes, I like what I like and let's leave it at that.

ugh.

My cousin Vanessa has been with us since the first of this month. She leaves tomorrow afternoon, I'm guessing...

lock-in last night was fun. x] at like 1 in the morning we all had to set up a tent in the dark (inside, of course... it was storming like crazy and Cory had the Shop Vac downstairs to suck up the flood of water coming in), and then we played Toothpaste (it's a game our group made up... essentially you hide a really small object in plain sight, and whoever sees it yells "toothpaste!" wink and then I conked out around 3. I slept on the hard floor on my stomach, completely and entirely covered by a blanket. quite comfy, actually. ^^

And then lonnie got in trouble today because he made me go in and do calves by myself. He was supposed to help. I almost wrecked my favorite shoes when I slipped (multiple times) in the mud unloading the wheelbarrow of crap (lol I typed "carp" wink so... rolleyes

I'ma go make a group on facebook for our youth group sometime. Seems like no one else has the initiative to do it... =l

Just when I think I can take a break, things come up so I can't. Now that the fair is done, there are the wonderful (*not*) records to do that are due at the September meeting... which'll be a bonfire potluck at our house. biggrin

... I need to buy a portable battery-operated straightener for my hair. My bangs have been absolute chaos with the constant rain.
